The Captains Rule: Our site, our rules. You don't have to like it, you do have to accept it.

Rule number 1:

NO BEAST, CHILD, SNUFF OR TRUE RAPE PORN

Rule number 2:

Don't be argumentative just to argue. If you have something to suggest, then suggest it. Beating staff over the head with lawyerman-wannabe interpretations of the rules is trolling. These rules haven't changed much since the site started, and staff don't go around banning people for "no reason".

Rule number 3:

Don't be smart ass, the purpose of the rules is NOT to get as close as possible to legal. If you want different rules, you are welcome to start your own "dog-fucking a tree" porn tracker.

General Rules:

• You represent that you are at least 18 years old, of legal age to rent/buy porn in your jurisdiction, & your local laws/standards do not prohibit the use of this site.
• You are not signing up as a representative of any law enforcement, professional, or trade organization whatsoever.
• Don't send private messages to staff unless there is a compelling need for privacy, refer to the forums instead.
• English language only site wide, the only exceptions are explained in the uploading rules.
  
• Do a forum search before posting to see if your topic/problem is already covered, don't unnecessarily start a new thread (except in Flame On).
  
• Post in the correct forum for your topic/query. If you do not qualify for forum perks you can NOT request ANYTHING except help to fix your ratio.
• Check the Home Page News regularly, & the News You Can Use forum at least every couple of months, check both before you post asking any questions.
  

Personal Rules:

• We run this site, what we say goes. Staff are fascist, watching and controlling. But we're not Hitler, more like Tito or Gorbachev.
• If your attitude sux you may be banned simply because it's expedient & staff can't be fucked wasting some of their life dealing with you.
  
• Breaking of any rule may result in an un-notified ban. You can lobby for readmittance, but you should spare your ego the devastation of my laughter.

Avatars & Signatures:

• Absolute maximum combined file size of avatar & signature: 2 MB, but please make an effort to keep file size down.
  
• Maximum avatar display size: width 150 pixels, height 300 pixels.
• Maximum Signature field (images & text combined) display size: height 200 pixels, width 600 pixels.
• Offensive &/or inappropriate avs & sigs may be removed.
  

Image Host Sites:

• ImageFap & it's referrer service fap.to are the only user revenue services allowed to be used as it is a sister site, all others are considered spam & not allowed, this includes "services" such as usercash, & web pages loaded with affiliate links.
  
• Standard adult image host sites like imagehost-4u fapomatic are of course allowed. Make sure the site you use allows adult images, if they don't they usually get deleted by the host &/or replaced with a spam image.
  
• If you use ImageFap the URL must be the original or the fap.to referrer, you must not use a service like tinyurl to disguise it.
• If you don't like ImageFap &/or fap.to you can exercise your right to STFU & not click on the links, uploaders are allowed to use them if they wish, end of story.
  
• Please see this forum thread for some of the disallowed imagehosts.

Good things to do:

• Do unto others. Most rules that follow can be ignored if you just DON'T do crappy things to other pervs.
• Keep the community safe. Report the slightest infraction to the forums. Yes we know we said we run the show, but you are the show. Without you there is no show to run.
• Wherever possible seed finished torrents to at least 1:1 ratio (give back as much as you've taken). Simply leaving the BT window open (not clicking "finish") will accomplish this.
• You are expected to maintain at least a 1.0 ratio, if you habitually download only overseeded torrents then it is likely you will end up needing to upload torrents in order to maintain a good ratio.
  
• Comment and vote on torrents you've downloaded.

Bad things:

• Outside of the Flame On forum DON'T Flame. Disagreeing by making a point of your own is called discussion. Saying "you suck" is a flame (and there's far wordier ways to say "you suck").
  
• Outside of the Flame On forum NO denigrating or abuse of others, their taste in content, the content &/or the torrent itself.
• NO comment sniping. Pay attention to the above rules & express you negative opinions in the General Bull or Flame On forum, not in torrent comments. If you don't like it don't download it & don't comment.
  
• Don't Hotlink other sites except well known adult image hosters or you will end up BANNED, no direct linking at all on main site except to well known adult image hosters.
  
• Don't be a leech. Having a shitty share ratio will get you BANNED. Keep a 1.0 ratio and you won't be banned.
• Don't "hit and run" or "steal" torrents. This means downloading and not uploading at all after completion. Stats will be tracked, and you could be banned if your up:down share is significantly less than 1.00
• Don't be a racist.
• Don't spam.
  
• Don't ask to be an admin or moderator. the answer is no. Besides, it only nets you responsibility, not special access to hidden files.
• Don't share your passkey/.torrent files. With it/them, other people can use your account, and you will probably wind up getting banned. The passkey is a secret part of your announce URL, so you must keep your announce URL a secret. This includes not using DHT -- or the distributed tracker function -- in clients that support that feature. Your passkey is encoded into every .torrent file you download & is what identifies you/your account to the tracker.
  
• One account only. We shouldn't even need to mention this on a ratio-enforced tracker, but you are only allowed one account & it is for your use only. If someone is sharing your IP, both accounts must have a positive ratio. Anything else is likely to result in a permanent subnet ban.
